Inspired by the news tickers of major news TV channels I have launched Latest News Ticker for WordPress.

Salut Shane,
thanks for your great plug-in. i’m a complete noob unfortunately – I activated your plugin and got it to display my latest posts, however at the top left of my homepage appear the words: CREDIT_FOOTER
can I get rid of that somehow?
thanks so much!
Heiko
Hi Shane,
Lovely plugin, the free version fits my needs. But I have one issue, can you please mail me.
Thanks,

How can I make the Latest News Ticker go from left to right?
thanks in advance.
It’ll be coming in the next major release
By far, this is the coolest ticker out there, and I’d buy right NOW if it would pull RSS feeds. I couldn’t find any mention of that on the ticker website, so thought I check with you to see if that is an option.
Bryce
I’m going to look to make this an option in the next major release
Hi,
I have purchased the pro version and it works great with my site for wp category’s but i use a theme that uses different taxonomies to WP e.g. ad_cat, is it possible to adapt this plugin to use my themes taxonomies?
Dave
Hi Dave,
This should be possible in the WordPress Query where we add the posts. If you drop me and email with your custom taxonomy name i’ll send you over a new functions.php that you can include into the plugin folder.
I’m going to add this to the next version of the plugin along with categories too so thanks for this suggestion.
Thanks
Shane
Hi
Perfect Plugin..! We use for it for a client and purchased the Pro version, but have a small issue..
Go check the site…and I have posted a test… It dosnĀ“t seem to go over the hole screen, only like a little part of the screen in the left side… I thought it would go from one side of the screen to the other side of the screen….
Can you help.
Thanks alot
Morten
Hi Morten,
Thanks
I think this happens because there is only one post on the site. When you add more posts this should resolve itself and fill the bottom area of the screen.
I’ll add this into the bug fixing queue so that it works a bit better with a smaller number of posts.
Many thanks
Shane
